8. Decides that any designation of experts to serve in the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee shall be subject to the relevant provisions of paragraph 7 of the present decision.

4. Requests the Programme to provide the information gathered as a result of the efforts referred to in paragraph 3 of the present decision to the Governments of the countries from which it has been collected;

The General Assembly, pursuant to its resolutions 45/175 of 18 December 1990, 46/140 of 17 December 1991 and 50/227 of 24 May 1996, approves the organization of work of the Third Committee and the biennial programme of work of the Committee for 1997-1998, as contained in annexes I and II to the present decision.
إن الجمعية العامة، عملا بقراراتها ٤٥/١٧٥ المؤرخ ١٨ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٠، و ٤٦/١٤٠ المؤرخ ١٧ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩١ و ٥٠/٢٢٧ المؤرخ ٢٤ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٦، توافق على تنظيم أعمال اللجنة الثالث وبرنامج عمل اللجنة لفترة السنتين ١٩٩٧ - ١٩٩٨، بالصيغة الواردة في المرفقين اﻷول والثاني من هذا المقرر.

(d) A system for providing information on how the safeguards referred to in appendix I to this decision are being addressed and respected throughout the implementation of the activities referred to in paragraph 70 above, while respecting sovereignty;
