The aim was to find material or information which could assist the Tribunal in the search for and capture of persons indicted by it for war crimes and to put pressure on networks believed to be involved in protecting those persons.

2. Where material or information is in the possession or control of the Prosecutor which must be disclosed in accordance with the Statute, but disclosure may prejudice further or ongoing investigations, the Prosecutor may apply to the Chamber dealing with the matter for a ruling as to whether the material or information must be disclosed to the defence.
2 - عندما تكون بحوزة المدعي العام أو تحت إمرته مواد أو معلومات يجب الكشف عنها طبقا للنظام الأساسي، ولكن الكشف عنها قد يلحق ضررا بالتحقيقات الإضافية أو الجارية، يجوز للمدعي العام أن يطلب إلى الدائرة التي تعالج المسألة إصدار حكم بشأن وجوب أو عدم وجوب الكشف للدفاع عن هذه المواد أو المعلومات.

(c) Where material or information is in the possession or control of the Prosecutor which is withheld under article 68, paragraph 5, such material and information may not be subsequently introduced into evidence during the confirmation hearing or the trial without adequate prior disclosure to the accused.
)ج( عندما تكون بحوزة المدعي العام أو تحت إمرته مواد أو معلومات جرى كتمانها بموجب الفقرة ٥ من المادة ٦٨، لا يجوز فيما بعد تقديم هذه المواد أو المعلومات كأدلة في أثناء جلسة اﻹقرار أو المحاكمة دون الكشف عنها مسبقا للمتهم بالشكل الملائم.

(d) Where material or information is in the possession or control of the defence which is subject to disclosure, it may be withheld in circumstances which would allow the Prosecutor to rely on article 68, paragraph 5, and a summary thereof submitted instead.
)د( عندما تكون بحوزة الدفاع أو تحت إمرته مواد أو معلومات خاضعة للكشف، يجوز، في الظروف التي تتيح للمدعي العام الاستناد إلى الفقرة ٥ من المادة ٦٨، كتمانها وتقديم موجز لها بدلا من ذلك.

5. Where material or information is in the possession or control of the Prosecutor which is withheld under article 68, paragraph 5, such material and information may not be subsequently introduced into evidence during the confirmation hearing or the trial without adequate prior disclosure to the accused.
5 - عندما تكون بحوزة المدعي العام أو تحت إمرته مواد أو معلومات جرى كتمانها بموجب الفقرة 5 من المادة 68، لا يجوز فيما بعد تقديم هذه المواد أو المعلومات كأدلة في أثناء جلسة الإقرار أو المحاكمة دون الكشف عنها مسبقا للمتهم بالشكل الملائم.

6. Where material or information is in the possession or control of the defence which is subject to disclosure, it may be withheld in circumstances similar to those which would allow the Prosecutor to rely on article 68, paragraph 5, and a summary thereof submitted instead.
6 - عندما تكون بحوزة الدفاع أو تحت إمرته مواد أو معلومات خاضعة للكشف، يجوز، في الظروف المشابهة لـلظروف التي تتيح للمدعي العام الاستناد إلى الفقرة 5 من المادة 68، كتمانهـا وتقديم موجـز لها بدلا من ذلك.

(b) Where material or information is in the possession or control of the Prosecutor which must be disclosed in accordance with the Statute, but disclosure may prejudice further or ongoing investigations, the Prosecutor may apply to the Chamber of the Court dealing with the matter for a ruling as to whether the material or information must be disclosed to the defence.
