In accordance with paragraph 28 of its terms of reference, the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee prepares for its meetings the draft risk profiles and risk management evaluations required by Article 8 of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants.
1 - تعد لجنة استعراض الملوثات العضوية الثابتة لاجتماعاتها وفقاً للفقرة 28 من اختصاصاتها مشاريع موجزات بيانات المخاطر ومشاريع تقييمات إدارة المخاطر تبعاً لما هو مطلوب في المادة 8 من اتفاقية استكهولم بشأن الملوثات العضوية الثابتة.

Standard workplan for the preparation of draft risk profiles and draft risk management evaluations and for the work programmes on new persistent organic pollutants during the intersessional period between the fifth and sixth meetings of the Committee.

At its second and third meetings, the Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee established ad hoc intersessional working groups to prepare draft risk profiles or draft risk management evaluations for chemicals under review.
1 - أنشأت لجنة استعراض الملوثات العضوية الثابتة، في اجتماعيها الثاني والثالث، أفرقة عاملة مخصصة لما بين الدورات من أجل إعداد مشاريع موجزات بيانات المخاطر أو مشاريع تقييمات إدارة المخاطر للمواد الكيميائية قيد الاستعراض.

In view of the number of chemicals still under review by the Committee, it is likely that the Committee at the current meeting will establish further ad hoc intersessional working groups for drafting relevant risk profiles and risk management evaluations.
2 - ونظراً لكبر عدد المواد الكيميائية التي لا تزال قيد الاستعراض من قبل اللجنة، يرجح أن تقوم اللجنة في الاجتماع الحالي بإنشاء المزيد من الأفرقة العاملة المخصصة لما بين الدورات لوضع مشاريع موجزات بيانات المخاطر وتقييمات إدارة المخاطر ذات الصلة.

To support the work of the ad hoc working groups, the Secretariat has prepared draft workplans for the preparation of any risk profiles and risk management evaluations that might be required during the period between the fourth and fifth meetings of the Committee.
3 - وبغية دعم الأفرقة العاملة المخصصة في عملها، أعدت الأمانة مشاريع خطط عمل لإعداد أي موجزات بيانات المخاطر أو تقييمات إدارة المخاطر التي قد تكون مطلوبة أثناء الفترة ما بين الاجتماعين الرابع والخامس للجنة.

Possible action by the Committee The Committee may wish to adopt, with any amendments that it may deem necessary, the draft workplans set out in the annex to the present note for the preparation of draft risk profiles and draft risk management evaluations during the period between the fourth and fifth meetings of the Committee.
