The Conference was organized by the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact and NGO Forum on Cambodia, with the support of the International Work Group for Indigenous Affairs and the European Commission.

A regional workshop on land was organized in Cambodia by the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact Foundation in cooperation with the International Working Group for Indigenous Affairs and other partners as a key contribution to the Permanent Forum's focus on land, territories and resources during its sixth session.

24. In June 2006, the Fund sponsored an indigenous expert to participate in the regional training for professional staff on indigenous and tribal peoples in Asia, organized by the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact Foundation, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Work Group for Indigenous Affairs.
24 - وفي حزيران/يونيه 2006، قام الصندوق بالرعاية المالية لأحد الخبراء من أبناء الشعوب الأصلية كي يشارك في التدريب الإقليمي للموظفين الفنيين المعنيين بالشعوب الأصلية والقبلية في آسيا، الذي نظمته مؤسسة ميثاق الشعوب الأصلية في آسيا ومنظمة العمل الدولية وفريق العمل الدولي المعني بشؤون الشعوب الأصلية.

29. The first Asian Indigenous Peoples Regional Fair was held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on 26 and 27 July 2008, organized by the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact Foundation in partnership with the UNDP Regional Initiative.
29 - نُظم المعرض الإقليمي الآسيوي الأول للشعوب الأصلية في تشيانغ ماي، تايلند، يومي 26 و 27 تموز/يوليه 2008، بمبادرة من مؤسسة ميثاق الشعوب الأصلية في آسيا، وبالشراكة مع المبادرة الإقليمية لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي.

31. In cooperation with the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact Foundation and local partners, the UNDP Regional Initiative on Indigenous Peoples' Rights and Development is conducting training programmes for indigenous women on decision-making.
31 - بالتعاون مع مؤسسة ميثاق الشعوب الأصلية في آسيا والشركاء المحليين، تتولى المبادرة الإقليمية بشأن حقوق الشعوب الأصلية وتنميتها التابعة لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي تنظيم دورات تدريبية لنساء الشعوب الأصلية في مجال صنع القرار.

The training in the Lao People's Democratic Republic was held from 27 to 31 October 2008 in Vientiane and the local hosts and coorganizers included members of the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact and its network, the Gender Development Group and the Community Knowledge Support Association.
ونظم البرنامج التدريبي في جمهورية لاو الديمقراطية الشعبية في الفترة من 27 إلى 31 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2008 في فينتيان وشارك في استضافته وتنظيمه محليا كل من مجموعة أعضاء مؤسسة ميثاق الشعوب الأصلية وشبكتها وجماعة تنمية شؤون الجنسين ورابطة دعم المعارف المجتمعية.

Contributions were received from Morocco, Saudi Arabia, the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the African Women's Association, Amis des Etrangers au Togo and the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (Thailand).
وتم استلام مساهمات من المغرب والمملكة العربية السعودية وأمانة اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ والرابطة النسائية الإفريقية ومنظمة أصدقاء الأجانب في توغو (Amis des Etrangers au Togo) ومنظمة ميثاق الشعوب الأصلية في آسيا (تايلند).

14. Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact Foundation (AIPP) stated that article 28 of the Constitution prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, religion, and place of birth, but indigenous peoples are the victim of social, racial, religious, cultural and linguistic discrimination.
14- وذكرت مؤسسة ميثاق الشعوب الأصلية في آسيا أنه في حين تحظر المادة 28 من الدستور التمييز على أساس العرق والدين ومكان الميلاد، فإن السكان الأصليين يتعرضون للتمييز الاجتماعي والعنصري والديني والثقافي واللغوي(20).
