UNCTAD, also in its capacity as secretariat to the Commission on Science and Technology for Development, should assist the Commission in implementing its mandate on the follow-up to the WSIS outcomes.
وينبغي للأونكتاد أيضاً، بوصفه أمانة اللجنة المعنية بتسخير العلم والتكنولوجيا لأغراض التنمية، أن يساعد هذه اللجنة في تنفيذ ولايتها المتعلقة بمتابعة نتائج مؤتمر القمة العالمي لمجتمع المعلومات.

The Centre is a member of the national committee for WSIS follow-up, under the authority of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, and was behind the establishment of the civil society consortium for follow-up of WSIS outcomes.

It was now important for UNCTAD, which had participated continuously in the WSIS process, to continue its work and define a concrete, strategic road map for its contribution to the implementation and follow-up of the WSIS outcomes.
