7. we commit ourselves to the implementation of the Convention and the protocols thereto and undertake:
٧ - نعلن التزامنا بتنفيذ الاتفاقية والبروتوكولات الملحقة بها ، ونتعهد بما يلي :

1. declare our commitment to forge a new ethic for sustainable development based on the equal and active participation of women, men and youth as agents of change at family, community, national and international levels;
١ - نعلن التزامنا بترسيخ قاعدة أخلاقية جديدة فيما يخص التنمية المستدامة تقوم على أساس المشاركة النشطة للنساء والرجال والشباب على قدم المساواة بوصفهم اﻷطراف القائمة بالتغيير على مستويي اﻷسرة والمجتمع المحلي وعلى الصعيدين الوطني والدولي؛

24. we express our commitment to this valuable initiative, which is designed to strengthen hemisphere-wide dialogue and consultation, and we note the importance of the concerted efforts of the Rio Group in helping to ensure the success of this meeting. Universal Congress on the Panama Canal
٢٤ - نعلن التزامنا بهذه المبادرة القيﱢمة الرامية إلى تعميق الحوار والمشاورات على مستوى بلدان نصف الكرة الغربي ونؤكد أهمية التشاور فيما بين أعضاء مجموعة ريو للمساهمة في ضمان نجاح المؤتمر.

14. we commit ourselves to the development of more effective ways of collaborating with one another with a view to eradicating the scourge of trafficking in persons, especially women and children, and the smuggling of migrants.
14 - نعلن التزامنا باستحداث سبل أنجع للتعاون فيما بيننا بغية استئصال بلاء الاتجار بالأشخاص، ولا سيما النساء والأطفال، وتهريب المهاجرين.

١١ - نعلن التزامنا بأن نضع توصيات سياساتية ذات توجه عملي تستند إلى الاحتياجات الخاصة للمرأة بصفتها إخصائية ممارسة في ميدان العدالة الجنائية أو ضحية أو سجينة أو جانية؛

11. we commit ourselves to taking into account and addressing, within the United Nations Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Programme, as well as within national crime prevention and criminal justice strategies, any disparate impact of programmes and policies on women and men.
11 - نعلن التزامنا بأن نراعي ونعالج، في برنامج الأمم المتحدة لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، وكذلك في الاستراتيجيات الوطنية بشأن منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، أي تباين في تأثير البرامج والسياسات على النساء والرجال؛

5. declare our commitment to work jointly with all other countries in the formulation of action-oriented international strategies for drug demand reduction, control of chemical precursors for the illicit manufacture of drugs, prevention of money laundering, as well as measures to eliminate or significantly reduce illicit crops and to promote alternative development programmes;
٥ - نعلن التزامنا بالعمل بالاشتراك مع جميع البلدان اﻷخرى ﻹعداد استراتيجيات دولية موجهة لاتخاذ اجراءات، من أجل خفض الطلب على المخدرات، ومراقبة السلائف الكيمائية الداخلة في صناعة المخدرات بطريقة غير مشروعة، ومنع غسل اﻷموال، فضلا عن اتخاذ تدابير ﻹبادة المحاصيل غير المشروعة أو خفضها بصورة كبيرة وتعزيز برامج التنمية البديلة؛

42. we express our commitment to implement consultation and confidence-building measures, bearing in mind the need to strengthen political dialogue and cooperation in order to create conditions of greater transparency, stability and security, including a consultation process on the limitation and control of conventional weapons, as recognized in the Santiago Declaration on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures, adopted in November 1995.
٤٢ - نعلن التزامنا تطبيق تدابير للتشاور وبناء الثقة نراعي فيها ضرورة تعميق الحوار والتعاون السياسيين لتهيئة ما تتطلبه زيادة الشفافية والاستقرار واﻷمن من شروط تشمل فيما تشمل الدخول في عملية تشاور بشأن تحديد ومراقبة اﻷسلحة التقليدية وفقا لما هو منصوص عليه في إعلان سنتياغو بشأن تدابير بناء الثقة واﻷمن الذي اعتمد في تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥.
