Mr. Nguyen Duy CHIEN (Viet Nam) said that, while every watercourse undoubtedly had specific characteristics, that did not imply that the definition must include each and every distinguishing feature. His delegation agreed with the Syrian and United States delegations that the definitions of " watercourse " and " international watercourse " were sufficiently clear in the Commission's draft.
