At its eleventh meeting, held in May 2013, the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal did not adopt draft technical guidelines on transboundary movements of electronic and electrical waste and used electrical and electronic equipment, in particular regarding the distinction between waste and nonwaste under the Basel Convention.

Decision OEWG8/4, on technical guidelines on transboundary movements of electronic and electrical waste (ewaste), in particular regarding the distinction between waste and non-waste, is set out in the annex to the present report.
ويرد في مرفق التقرير الحالي مقرر الفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية - 8/4، بشأن المبادئ التوجيهية التقنية بشأن نقل النفايات الإلكترونية والكهربائية) عبر الحدود، وخصوصاً فيما يتعلّق بالتمييز بين النفايات وغير النفايات.

It should be noted that section 3, which deals with transboundary movements of used and end-of-life computing equipment, has not been revised, as the Partnership is waiting for the Secretariat to finalize the draft technical guidelines on transboundary movements of electronic and electrical waste, in particular regarding the distinction between waste and non-waste.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن الفرع 3 الذي يتناول نقل المعدات الحاسوبية المستعملة عبر الحدود وإعادة تدوير المعدات الحاسوبية الهالكة لم يخضع للتنقيح، إذ أن الشراكة تنتظر أن تنتهي الأمانة من إعداد مشروع المبادئ التوجيهية التقنية بشأن نقل النفايات الإلكترونية والكهربائية عبر الحدود، لا سيما ما يتعلق بالتمييز بين النفايات وغير النفايات.

As referred to in document UNEP/CHW.11/7 on technical guidelines, the annex to the present note contains the draft technical guidelines on transboundary movements of electronic and electrical waste (e-waste), in particular regarding the distinction between waste and non-waste under the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal.
كما ذُكر في وثيقة المبادئ التوجيهية التقنية UNEP/CHW.11/7، يتضمن المرفق لهذه المذكرة المشروع المنقح للمبادئ التوجيهية التقنية بشأن نقل النفايات الإلكترونية والكهربائية (النفايات الإلكترونية) عبر الحدود، وخاصة فيما يتعلق بالتمييز بين النفايات وغير النفايات، بموجب اتفاقية بازل بشأن التحكم في نقل النفايات الخطرة والتخلص منها عبر الحدود.

The revision of section 3 of the guidance document on the environmentally sound management of used and endoflife computing equipment, which deals with transboundary movements of such equipment, following the adoption of the technical guidelines on transboundary movements of electronic and electrical waste, in particular regarding the distinction between waste and non-waste, by the Conference of the Parties.
