In this regard, the Head of Mission continues to engage with key leaders of the Misseriya community in El Muglad and the Ngok Dinka community in Agok to obtain commitments for a peaceful conduct of the migration season, as well as the dignified and voluntary return of internally displaced persons.

16. The Secretary-General states that during the 2013/14 period, an increase in returns of displaced persons belonging to the Ngok Dinka community is expected, and UNISFA will continue to initiate conflict mitigation, peace and co-existence measures and mechanisms among the Ngok Dinka and Misseriya to facilitate an organized and orderly migration and the return of the displaced to Abyei (ibid., para. 9).

UNISFA will continue to initiate conflict mitigation, peace and co-existence measures and mechanisms among the Ngok Dinka and Misseriya, to facilitate an organized and orderly migration and the return of the displaced to Abyei.
