In its decisions POPRC-7/2 and POPRC-7/3, the Committee decided that the proposals on chlorinated naphthalenes and hexachlorobutadiene met the screening criteria set out in Annex D to the Convention and established ad hoc working groups to review the proposals further and develop draft risk profiles in accordance with Annex E to the Convention.
وفى المقررين ل.ا.م- 7/2 ول.ا.م- 7/3، قررت اللجنة أن المقترحين المعنيين بالنفثالينات المكلورة والبيوتاديين السداسي الكلور قد استوفيت معايير الفرز الواردة في المرفق دال للاتفاقية، وأنشأت أفرقة عمل مخصصة لمواصلة استعراض هذين المقترحيْن، وبلورة مشروعي بياني مخاطر بموجب المرفق هاء من الاتفاقية.

He noted that, while such arguments were relevant to the question whether endosulfan should be listed in the annexes to the Convention, they should be made during development of the risk profile for the chemical in accordance with Annex E to the Convention, following a careful sifting and weighing of all the evidence.
91 - وأشار رئيس اللجنة إلى أنّه على الرغم من صلة هذه الحجج بمسألة ما إذا كان إندوسلفان ينبغي أن يُدرج في مرافق الاتفاقية، فإنّها ينبغي أن تُساق عند وضع موجز بيانات مخاطر المادة الكيميائية عملاً بالمرفق هاء من الاتفاقية وبعد فرز وموازنة جميع الأدلة بعناية.

By paragraph 2 of that decision, the Committee decided to establish an ad hoc working group to further review the proposal to list pentachlorophenol and its salts and esters in Annexes A, B and/or C to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants and to prepare a draft risk profile in accordance with Annex E to the Convention.

In considering the item, the Committee had before it the updated draft risk profile on shortchained chlorinated paraffins (UNEP/POPS/POPRC.4/10) prepared by the ad hoc working group established by decision POPRC-3/8 to review and update the draft risk profile in accordance with Annex E to the Convention.
