But, in brevity, we think it is important to look at the origin and history of this particular forum and to see what it has done especially regarding nuclear issues.

We also welcome with hope the words spoken recently in this very forum by representatives of the major Powers and other figures of great multilateral importance, as well as the ideas being circulated concerning the revitalization of nuclear disarmament and the renewal of this process.
