1. Nothing in this Convention affects the enforceability of an arbitration agreement in a contract of carriage in non-liner transportation to which this Convention or the provisions of this Convention apply by reason of:
١- ليس في هذه الاتفاقية ما يمسّ بوجوب إنفاذ اتفاق تحكيم وارد في عقد نقل في سياق النقل الملاحي غير المنتظم تنطبق عليه هذه الاتفاقية أو أحكام هذه الاتفاقية بسبب:

At any time after the deposit of its instrument of ratification, acceptance or approval of this Convention or of accession thereto, a State may notify the Depositary of its consent to be bound by any annexed Protocol by which it is not already bound.
ويجوز لأية دولة في أي وقت بعد إيداع صك تصديقها على هذه الاتفاقية أو قبولها أو إقرارها أو انضمامها إليها، أن تُشعر الوديع بموافقتها على الالتزام بأي بروتوكول ملحق بها لم تلتزم به من قبل.

These manuals shall not constitute integral parts of this Convention or the Annexes, and may be changed by the Technical Secretariat subject to approval by the Executive Council.
ولا تشكل هذه الكتيبات جزءا لا يتجزأ من هذه الاتفاقية أو المرفقات، ويجوز للأمانة الفنية أن تغيرها رهنا بموافقة المجلس التنفيذي.

The Scientific Advisory Board may be called upon to review nuclear or other research and determine whether it is of a nature prohibited under this Convention or of a nature that may contribute to verification of nuclear disarmament.
ويجوز دعوة المجلس الاستشاري العلمي لاستعراض البحوث النووية وغيرها وتحديد ما إذا كانت ذات طابع تحظره هذه الاتفاقية أو طابع قد يسهم في التحقق من نزع السلاح النووي.

The Secretary—General of the United Nations shall inform all States Members of the United Nations and all States which have signed this Convention or acceded to it of the following:
يبلغ اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة جميع الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة وجميع الدول التي وقعت على هذه الاتفاقية أو انضمت إليها بما يلي:

The States Parties to this Protocol, expressing their wish to resort to the compulsory jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice, unless some other form of settlement is provided for in the Convention or has been agreed upon by the Parties within a reasonable period, have agreed as follows:
إن الدول الأطراف في هذا البروتوكول، إذ تعرب عن رغبتها في اللجوء إلى الولاية الجبرية لمحكمة العدل الدولية، ما لم يتوفر أي شكل آخر من أشكال التسوية تنص عليه هذه الاتفاقية أو تتفق عليه الأطراف خلال فترة معقولة، تتفق على ما يلي:

A State Party which has reason to believe that another State Party is not fulfilling the obligations incumbent upon it pursuant to this Agreement or that another State Party is interfering with the rights which the former State has under this Agreement may request consultations with that State Party.
2- يجوز لكل دولة طرف، يكون لديها من الأسباب ما يحملها على الاعتقاد أنَّ دولة طرفا أخرى لا تفي بالالتزامات المفروضة عليها بموجب هذه الاتفاقية أو أنَّ دولة طرفا أخرى تعترض ما للدولة الأولى من حقوق بموجب هذا الاتفاق، أن تطلب إجراء مشاورات مع هذه الدولة الطرف.
