The Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands declares that whereas the Netherlands Antilles are not bound by the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees, article 22 of the present Convention shall be interpreted as containing a reference only to such other international human rights or humanitarian instruments as are binding on the Kingdom of the Netherlands with respect to the Netherlands Antilles.

31. The problem faced by the Netherlands with regard to the traffic in women was forced prostitution. Illegal aliens who notified the Government that they had been subject to such treatment were granted a residence permit for the duration of the investigation and court proceedings.

81. One of the conclusions was that while there was a lot going on in the Netherlands in the area of human rights education, the implementation of these initiatives was not effective or permanent.
81- ومن الاستنتاجات أن تنفيذ هذه المبادرات، وإن اتّخذت تدابير كثيرة في هولندا فيما يتعلق بالتثقيف في مجال حقوق الإنسان، لم يكن فعالاً أو دائماً.

Nonrefoulement The Committee is concerned at the difficulties faced by asylum-seekers in the European part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in substantiating their claims under the accelerated procedure of the 2000 Aliens Act, which could lead to a violation of the non-refoulement principle provided for in article 3 of the Convention.
7- تشعر اللجنة بالقلق من الصعوبات التي يواجهها ملتمسو اللجوء في الجزء الأوروبي من مملكة هولندا فيما يتعلق بإثبات مطالباتهم في إطار الإجراء المعجّل لقانون الأجانب لعام 2000، الأمر الذي قد يؤدي إلى انتهاك مبدأ عدم الإعادة القسرية المنصوص عليه في المادة 3 من الاتفاقية.
