4. The sixth meeting of persons chairing the human rights treaty bodies was convened by the Secretary-General pursuant to General Assembly resolution 49/178.
٤ - وعملا بقرار الجمعية العامة ٤٩/١٧٨، عقد اﻷمين العام الاجتماع السادس لرؤساء هيئات اﻹشراف على معاهدات حقوق اﻹنسان.

20. The chairpersons draw attention to the importance of the human rights treaty bodies contributing fully to the achievement of the Plan of Action for the United Nations Decade for Human Rights Education.
٢٠ - ووجه رؤساء الهيئات الانتباه الى أهمية هيئات اﻹشراف على معاهدات حقوق اﻹنسان التي تساهم مساهمة كاملة في تحقيق خطة عمل عقد اﻷمم المتحدة للتعليم في مجال حقوق اﻹنسان.

" 5. Welcomes the emphasis placed by the meeting of persons chairing the human rights treaty bodies and by the Commission on Human Rights on the importance of technical assistance and advisory services and, further to this end:

٩ - تدعو مفوض اﻷمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق اﻹنسان إلى التشاور مع هيئات اﻹشراف على معاهدات حقوق اﻹنسان بشأن الجهود التي يبذلها من أجل تشجيع التعاون مع المنظمات الحكومية الدولية اﻹقليمية بهدف تعزيز وحماية حقوق اﻹنسان؛
