Saudi Arabia was a party to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the two Protocols thereto, and to International Labour Organization Convention No. 182 on the worst forms of child labour.

Oman had also signed the Arab Convention on the Suppression of Terrorism, the Convention of the Organization of the Islamic Conference on Combating International Terrorism and the Convention of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf on Combating Terrorism.

32. At the global level, some human rights treaties include the environment as an indicator in their systems of protection, such as the Convention on the Rights of the Child and Convention No. 169 concerning Indigenous and Tribal Peoples in Independent Countries of the International Labour Organization (ILO).
32- وعلى المستوى العالمي، فإن بعض المعاهدات في مجال حقوق الإنسان تُدخل البيئة كمؤشر في نظمها المتعلقة بالحماية، مثل اتفاقية حقوق الطفل، واتفاقية منظمة العمل الدولية رقم 169 بشأن الشعوب الأصلية والقبلية في البلدان المستقلة.
