The Security Council welcomes the decision of the Joint Political and Security Mechanism to establish and move forward with the Joint Border Verification Monitoring Mechanism, in accordance with the 29 June 2011 Agreement on Border Security and the Joint Political and Security Mechanism.
ويرحب مجلس الأمن بقرار الآلية السياسية والأمنية المشتركة إنشاء وتفعيل آلية مشتركة للتحقق من الحدود ورصدها، وفقا لاتفاق الأمن الحدودي المؤرخ 29 حزيران/يونيه 2011 والآلية السياسية والأمنية المشتركة.

I call upon the two countries to restore their dialogue mechanisms, including the Area Joint Oversight Committee and the Joint Political and Security Mechanism, and to resume discussions under the aegis of the African Union and the African Union High-level Implementation Panel.

5. Following the signing of the 20 June 2011 Agreement, the parties signed the Agreement on Border Security and the Joint Political and Security Mechanism on 29 June 2011 and the Agreement on the Border Monitoring Support Mission on 30 July 2011.
5 - وبعد توقيع اتفاق 20 حزيران/يونيه 2011، وقع الطرفان الاتفاقَ المتعلق بأمن الحدود والآلية السياسية والأمنية المشتركة في 29 حزيران/يونيه 2011 والاتفاقَ المتعلق ببعثة دعم مراقبة الحدود في 30 تموز/يوليه 2011.

14. Limited progress was achieved during the reporting period on the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Sudan and the Government of South Sudan on Border Security and the Joint Political and Security Mechanism of 29 June 2011 and the Agreement on the Border Monitoring Support Mission of 30 July 2011.

21. The Sudan and South Sudan have yet to activate the Joint Border Verification and Monitoring Mechanism, which they agreed to establish in the Agreement on Border Security and the Joint Political and Security Mechanism of 29 June 2011 and the Agreement on the Border Monitoring Support Mission of 30 July 2011.
21 - لم تقم حكومتا السودان وجنوب السودان بعد بتفعيل الآلية المشتركة للتحقق من الحدود ورصدها، التي وافقتا على إنشائها في الاتفاق المتعلق بأمن الحدود والآلية السياسية والأمنية المشتركة، المؤرخ 29 حزيران/يونيه 2011 والاتفاق المتعلق ببعثة دعم مراقبة الحدود المؤرخ 30 تموز/يوليه 2011.

10. The JBVMM shall maintain necessary chart geographical and mapping references, which once agreed to the border between the two states, shall be used for the purpose of monitoring of the implementation in accordance with Paragraph 2 of the Agreement on Border Security and the Joint Political and Security Mechanism of 29 June 2011;
10 - تحتفظ الآلية المشتركة لرصد الحدود والتحقق منها بالمخططات والمراجع الجغرافية والخرائطية اللازمة التي ستستخدم، عند توصل الدولتين إلى اتفاق بشأن الحدود، لأغراض رصد التنفيذ وفقا للفقرة 2 من الاتفاق المتعلق بأمن الحدود والآلية السياسية والأمنية المشتركة المؤرخ 29 حزيران/يونيه 2011.

I have the honour to refer to my report of 29 September 2011 on the situation in Abyei (S/2011/603), in which I expressed my support for the 29 June 2011 Agreement on Border Security and the Joint Political and Security Mechanism and the 30 July 2011 Agreement on the Border Monitoring Support Mission between the Government of the Sudan and the Government of South Sudan.
يشرفني أن أشير إلى تقريري المؤرخ 29 أيلول/سبتمبر 2011 عن الحالة في أبيي (S/2011/603)، الذي أعربت فيه عن دعمي لاتفاق 29 حزيران/يونيه 2011 بشأن أمن الحدود والآلية السياسية والأمنية المشتركة، واتفاق 30 تموز/يوليه 2011 بشأن بعثة دعم رصد الحدود، المبرمين بين حكومة السودان وحكومة جنوب السودان.

Welcoming the 29 June Agreement between the Government of the Sudan and the Government of Southern Sudan on Border Security and the Joint Political and Security Mechanism, taking note of the commitment in paragraph 2 to create a safe demilitarized border zone (SDBZ) and further taking note of the request for assistance from the United Nations to provide external support for monitoring and verification in the SDBZ,
وإذ يرحب بالاتفاق المبرم في 29 حزيران/يونيه بين حكومة السودان وحكومة جنوب السودان بشأن أمن الحدود والآلية السياسية والأمنية المشتركة، وإذ يحيط علما بالالتزام المنصوص عليه في الفقرة 2، والذي يقضي بإنشاء منطقة حدودية آمنة ومنزوعة السلاح، وإذ يحيط علما كذلك بالطلب الذي وجه إلى الأمم المتحدة التماسا للمساعدة وتوفير الدعم الخارجي اللازم للرصد والتحقق في المنطقة الحدودية الآمنة والمنزوعة السلاح،

(d) Assist the JBVMM to maintain the necessary chart, geographical and mapping references, which shall be used for the purpose of monitoring the implementation of paragraph 2 of the Agreement on Border Security and the Joint Political and Security Mechanism of 29 June 2011;
(د) مساعدة الآلية المشتركة على الاحتفاظ بمراجع الرسوم البيانية والمراجع الجغرافية والخرائطية، التي سيستعان بها في رصد تنفيذ الفقرة 2 من الاتفاق المتعلق بأمن الحدود والآلية السياسية والأمنية المشتركة المؤرخ 29 حزيران/يونيه 2011؛

(2) In accordance with the Agreement on Border Security and Joint Political and Security Mechanism signed by the Parties on 29th June 2011, and the Agreement on the Border Monitoring Support Mission signed on 30th July 2011, the JPSM shall provide protection for the demarcation teams and for the equipment and other facilities relating to the demarcation process.

15. The Sudan and South Sudan continued to make progress towards the implementation of their agreement to establish the Joint Border Verification and Monitoring Mechanism, as provided in the Agreement on Border Security and the Joint Political and Security Mechanism of 29 June 2011, the Agreement on the Border Monitoring Support Mission of 30 July 2011 and the Agreement on Security Arrangements of 27 September 2012.
15 - واصل السودان وجنوب السودان إحراز تقدم في تنفيذ اتفاقهما بشأن إنشاء الآلية المشتركة لرصد الحدود والتحقق منها، على النحو المنصوص عليه في الاتفاق المبرم في 29 حزيران/يونيه 2011 بشأن أمن الحدود والآلية السياسية والأمنية المشتركة، والاتفاق المبرم في 30 تموز/يوليه 2011 بشأن بعثة دعم مراقبة الحدود، والاتفاق المبرم في 27 أيلول/ سبتمبر 2012 بشأن الترتيبات الأمنية.

14. The Sudan and South Sudan have made progress towards the implementation of their agreement to establish the Joint Border Verification and Monitoring Mechanism, as provided in the Agreement on Border Security and the Joint Political and Security Mechanism of 29 June 2011, the Agreement on the Border Monitoring Support Mission of 30 July 2011 and the Agreement on Security Arrangements of 27 September 2012.
