1 Revision of the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act

75. The Act to Partially Revise the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and others was enforced from July 9, 2012, and the Alien Registration System was abolished.
75- في 9 تموز/يوليه 2012، بدأ نفاذ القانون الرامي إلى إدخال تنقيح جزئي على قانون مراقبة الهجرة والاعتراف باللاجئين وقوانين أخرى، وأُلغي نظام تسجيل الأجانب.

Accordingly, the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act was revised to stipulate that victims of human trafficking can get a special permit.
وعدّل بالتالي قانون مراقبة الهجرة والاعتراف باللاجئين لتمكين النساء اللاتي يتم الاتجار بهن من الحصول على تراخيص خاصة للإقامة.

173. The law also contains amendments to the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, which provides for a definition of trafficking in persons.

In addition to the above, Article 5 of the " Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act " provides for various other conditions for denial of landing. (ANNEX 7)

Furthermore, legal immigration to Japan also increased during the late 1980s and early 1990s, particularly after an amendment to Japan's Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act entitled second- and third-generation descendants of Japanese emigrants to long-term residence permits.
وياﻹضافة الى ذلك، زادت الهجرة القانونية الى اليابان أيضا خلال أواخر عقد الثمانيات ومطلع عقد التسعينات، خاصة بعد إدخال تعديل على قانون مراقبة الهجرة والاعتراف باللاجئين في اليابان سمح للجيل الثاني والثالث من اليابانيين الذين هاجروا من اليابان بالحصول على اذونات باﻹقامة الى آجال طويلة.

(e) The lack of effective implementation of article 53 (3) of the ICRRA, which prohibits the removal of a person to any country where he or she may be subject to torture, as proscribed in article 3 of the Convention (arts. 3, 11 and 16).
