27. The National Statistics Office of Georgia underlined that the gender equality has both quantitative and qualitative aspects and once again stressed that the gender statistics is statistics about the status of women and men in all spheres of public and economic activity.

19 - تحيط اللجنة علماً ببعض الجهود التي تبذلها الدولة الطرف للتصدي للممارسات التقليدية الضارة ولكنها لا تزال تشعر بالقلق إزاء استمرار المعايير والممارسات والتقاليد الثقافية السلبية والمواقف الأبوية والقوالب النمطية المتأصلة إزاء أدوار ومسؤوليات وهوية المرأة والرجل في جميع مناحي الحياة.

The subject of the Law on Gender Equality is the way of ensuring and exercising rights based on sex, as well as measures for elimination of discrimination based on sex and creation of equal opportunities for participation of women and men in all spheres of social life.
ويتمثل موضوع " قانون المساواة بين الجنسين " في طريقة كفالة وممارسة الحقوق المستندة إلى الجنس، علاوة على تدابير للقضاء على التمييز المستند إلى الجنس، وخلق فرص متساوية لمشاركة المرأة والرجل في جميع مناحي الحياة الاجتماعية.
