رابعاً- نتائج المناقشة المشتركة بشأن الاتجار بالممتلكات الثقافية التي أجراها فريق الخبراء الحكوميين العامل المعني بالمساعدة التقنية والفريق العامل المعني بالتعاون الدولي

Speakers welcomed the efforts in that area of the Working Group of Government Experts on Technical Assistance and the Working Group on International Cooperation, as well as the work of the expert group on protection against trafficking in cultural property, established by the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
ورحَّب متكلّمون بالجهود التي يبذلها في ذلك المجال فريق الخبراء الحكوميين العامل المعني بالمساعدة التقنية والفريق العامل المعني بالتعاون الدولي. كما رحَّبوا بالعمل الذي يقوم به فريق الخبراء المعني بالحماية من الاتجار بالممتلكات الثقافية الذي أنشأته لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية.

The second session of the Conference decided to establish the technical assistance and international cooperation working groups.
وقرر المؤتمر في دورته الثانية إنشاء الفريق العامل المعني بالمساعدة التقنية والفريق العامل المعني بالتعاون الدولي.

In that resolution, the Secretariat was requested to prepare an analytical report on the application of the Convention by States parties with respect to criminal offences against cultural property, for the consideration of the Working Group of Government Experts on Technical Assistance and the Working Group on International Cooperation.
وفي ذلك القرار، طُلب إلى الأمانة أن تعدّ تقريراً تحليلياً بشأن تطبيق الدول الأطراف للاتفاقية فيما يخص الجرائم المرتكبة ضد الممتلكات الثقافية لكي ينظر فيه فريق الخبراء الحكوميين العامل المعني بالمساعدة التقنية والفريق العامل المعني بالتعاون الدولي.

63. The Czech Republic reported that it endorsed the proposal of joint sessions of the meeting of experts on international cooperation under the UNCAC and the Working Group on International Cooperation under the UNTOC.
63- وذكرت الجمهورية التشيكية أنها تؤيد اقتراح عقد دورات مشتركة لاجتماع الخبراء بشأن التعاون الدولي في إطار اتفاقية مكافحة الفساد والفريق العامل المعني بالتعاون الدولي في إطار اتفاقية مكافحة الجريمة المنظَّمة.

65. Lebanon was of the view that the joint sessions of the meeting of experts and the Working Group on International Cooperation under the UNTOC would be a good initiative that could foster and enrich the debate on matters of common concern between the two working groups.
65- ورأى لبنان أنَّ عقد دورات مشتركة لاجتماع الخبراء والفريق العامل المعني بالتعاون الدولي بموجب اتفاقية مكافحة الجريمة المنظَّمة سيكون مبادرة طيبة يمكن أن تعزز وتثري النقاش حول المسائل ذات الاهتمام المشترك بين الفريقين العاملين.

وإذ ترحب بالتوصيات المنبثقة من المناقشة المشتركة بشأن الاتجار بالممتلكات الثقافية التي أجراها فريق الخبراء الحكوميين العامل المعني بالمساعدة التقنية والفريق العامل المعني بالتعاون الدولي في فيينا في 18 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2012، بالصيغة التي وافق عليها مؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية في قراره 6/1 المؤرخ 19 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2012(

A number of speakers favoured the organization of joint meetings of the open-ended intergovernmental expert meeting to enhance international cooperation under the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the Working Group on International Cooperation established by the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime in view of the similar topics discussed by the two groups.
41- حبَّذ عدد من المتكلِّمين عقد اجتماعات مشتركة بين اجتماع الخبراء الحكومي الدولي المفتوح المشاركة لتعزيز التعاون الدولي بموجب اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد والفريق العامل المعني بالتعاون الدولي الذي أنشأه مؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الجريمة المنظَّمة عبر الوطنية، نظراً لوجود مواضيع نقاش متماثلة لدى الفريقين.

In accordance with resolution 5/7 of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention on Transnational Organized Crime, the Working Group of Government Experts on Technical Assistance and the Working Group on International Cooperation held a joint discussion on the topic of trafficking in cultural property on 18 October 2012, during the sixth session of the Conference.
19- وفقاً لقرار مؤتمر الدول الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الجريمة المنظمة عبر الوطنية 5/7، أجرى فريق الخبراء الحكوميين العامل المعني بالمساعدة التقنية والفريق العامل المعني بالتعاون الدولي مناقشة مشتركة حول موضوع الاتجار بالممتلكات الثقافية في 18 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2012، أثناء دورة المؤتمر السادسة.

Introductory statements were made by representatives of the Secretariat on items 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the agenda, which was adopted at its first meeting, on 17 October 2012. The joint discussion on cultural property of the Working Group on Technical Assistance and the Working Group on International Cooperation was co-chaired by the Chairs of the two working groups.
