The Commission could also benefit from closer relations with the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea and the regional courts of justice, and it could enrich its codification work through genuine dialogue and a more fluid exchange of information with regional counterparts, such as the Inter-American Juridical Committee, the Asian-African Legal Consultative Committee and the European Committee on Legal Cooperation.
