In this connection, the High Commissioner has invited human rights treaty bodies, the special rapporteurs and representatives, experts and working groups established by the Commission on Human Rights, as well as the United Nations agencies and programmes and non-governmental organizations to pay attention to situations which might need preventive action.
وفي هذا الصدد، دعا المفوض السامي الهيئات المنشأة بموجب معاهدات حقوق اﻹنسان والمقررين والممثلين الخاصين والخبراء واﻷفرقة العاملة التي أنشأتها لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان، وكذلك وكالات اﻷمم المتحدة وبرامجها والمنظمات غير الحكومية، إلى إيلاء الاهتمام للحالات التي قد يلزم اتخاذ إجراء وقائي بشأنها.

In this connection, the High Commissioner has written to the Chairpersons of human rights treaty bodies, to the special rapporteurs and representatives, experts, and working groups established by the Commission on Human Rights, as well as to United Nations agencies and programmes and non-governmental organizations to invite them to call his attention to situations which might need preventive action.

In 2006, Nigeria pledged to cooperate with the treaty-monitoring bodies and reaffirmed its preparedness to welcome human rights inspectors, special rapporteurs and representatives.

55. The third joint meeting, held on 21 June 2001 between the chairpersons and the special rapporteurs and representatives, experts and chairpersons of working groups of the special procedures system of the Commission on Human Rights and of the advisory services programme, was welcomed.

Also requests the SecretaryGeneral, in implementing the United Nations budget for the current biennium, to ensure the availability of such resources as are necessary for the Office of the High Commissioner to support the effective implementation of all the thematic mandates, including any additional tasks entrusted to the thematic special rapporteurs and representatives, experts and working groups by the appropriate United Nations organs;
