67. In accordance with the request contained in paragraph 11 (b) of the Advisory Committee's report, UNAMIR has conducted reviews of the numbers of local staff and internationally recruited staff on several occasions. These reviews have revealed that, while it might be possible to reduce a few international General Service posts, it would not be possible to reduce the number of posts for locally recruited staff.
