As a follow-up to disarmament obligations, the 2000 NPT Review Conference agreed by consensus on 13 practical steps for the systematic and progressive efforts to implement article VI of the NPT and paragraphs 3 and 4 (c) of the 1995 decision on principles and objectives for nuclear proliferation and disarmament.
ولمتابعة الالتزامات في مجال نزع السلاح، اتفق مؤتمر استعراض المعاهدة لعام 2000 بتوافق الآراء على 13 خطوة عملية لبذل جهود منهجية وتصاعدية من أجل تنفيذ المادة السادسة من المعاهدة والفقرتين 3 و 4 (ج) من مقرر عام 1995 المعني بمبادئ وأهداف عدم الانتشار ونزع السلاح النوويين.

There needs to be integration of top-down (scenario-based) and bottom-up (based on analysis of current vulnerability) approaches as well as consideration of community-based participatory approaches for assessing adaptation needs and for developing policy responses.
64- وينبغي دمج نُهج تنازلية (قائمة على سيناريوهات) وتصاعدية (قائمة على تحليل قابلية التأثر في الوقت الراهن) وكذلك النظر في نُهج المشاركة المجتمعية لتقييم الاحتياجات من التكيف ووضع سياسات الاستجابة.
