We therefore call on all countries, particularly those on whom the Treaty's entry into force depends, to sign and ratify it as soon as possible.
ولذا فإننا ندعو جميع البلدان، وبخاصة تلك التي يتوقف عليها دخول المعاهدة حيز النفاذ، إلى أن توقع وتصدق عليها في أقرب وقت ممكن.

4. Calls upon all States that have not yet signed the Treaty to sign and ratify it as soon as possible and to refrain from acts that would defeat its object and purpose in the meanwhile;

1. The General Assembly, by its resolution 3068 (XXVIII) of 30 November 1973, adopted and opened for signature and ratification the International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid and appealed to all States to sign and ratify it as soon as possible.
