Stresses the importance of rationalizing the network of United Nations information centres, and, in this regard, requests the Secretary-General to continue to make proposals in this direction, including through the redeployment of resources where necessary, and to report to the Committee on Information at its successive sessions;
29 - تؤكد أهمية ترشيد شبكة مراكز الأمم المتحدة للإعلام، وتطلب إلى الأمين العام في هذا الصدد أن يواصل تقديم مقترحات في هذا الاتجاه بوسائل منها إعادة تخصيص الموارد، حيثما يكون ذلك ضروريا، وأن يقدم تقريرا إلى لجنة الإعلام في دوراتها المتعاقبة؛

Notes with appreciation the work done by the United Nations on Millennium Development Goal indicators, in particular those for Millennium Development Goal 5, and in this regard requests the Secretary-General to continue to expand the knowledge base, including the United Nations website, on the progress made towards the achievement of the Goals;
