43. The Special Rapporteur took note with great satisfaction of the conclusion on 26 February 2007 of an Understanding between the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Government of Myanmar to provide a mechanism to enable victims of forced labour to seek redress.

152. In the light of the foregoing conclusions, the Special Rapporteur submits the following recommendations for the consideration of the General Assembly and of the Government of Myanmar:
