30. The Committee welcomes the State party's efforts to improve access to and use of public services, through the adoption of measures such as free access to primary health-care services, which includes reproductive health care.
30- ترحب اللجنة بالجهود التي تبذلها الدولة الطرف لتحسين الحصول على الخدمات العامة والانتفاع بها، وذلك من خلال اعتماد تدابير مثل الاهتمام بتوفير الرعاية الصحية الأولية المجانية، التي تشمل الرعاية الصحة الإنجابية.

The Republic of Panama supports this initiative and draws attention to its development of a new vision of security, emphasizing the security of global transport and trade, through the adoption of the Panamanian Initiative for Secure Trade and Transportation (IPC & TS), as a means of reducing the threat from international organized crime and terrorism in their various forms.

It was for Governments to negotiate international trade rules and arrangements on behalf of States, while it was for parliaments to scrutinize government action, influence policies pursued by the government in negotiating trade agreements, ratify these agreements, implement their provisions through the adoption of appropriate legislation and budget allocations, and oversee the implementation process as a whole.

During the current reporting period, the Government of Israel also proceeded with the construction of a " wall/fence " inside the West Bank, despite calls to the contrary from the international community through the adoption of General Assembly resolutions (and the advisory opinion rendered on the issue of the wall/fence's legality by the International Court of Justice on 9 July 2004).

We call for support to be provided to small island developing States in their efforts to build resilience and reduce risks associated with natural disasters in areas and sectors vulnerable to climate change threats and for support to assist small island developing States in effectively addressing the multiple effects of their vulnerabilities through the adoption of sustainable development strategies.
122 - ندعو إلى تقديم الدعم إلى الدول الجزرية الصغيرة النامية في ما تبذله من جهود لبناء القدرة على التحمل والحد من الأخطار المرتبطة بالكوارث الطبيعية في المناطق والقطاعات المعرضة لتهديدات تغير المناخ، وندعو إلى تقديم الدعم لمساعدة الدول الجزرية الصغيرة النامية على التصدي بفعالية للآثار المتعددة المترتبة على جوانب الضعف التي تعاني منها، وذلك من خلال اعتماد استراتيجيات التنمية المستدامة.

With respect to Security Council resolution 1820 (2008), the Committee welcomed the commitment of the Heads of State of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region, through the adoption of the Protocol on the Prevention and Suppression of Sexual Violence against Women and Children, to preventing and suppressing sexual violence, henceforth recognized as a war crime by the Conference.
132 - وفيما يتعلق بقرار مجلس الأمن 1820 (2008)، رحبت اللجنة بالتزام رؤساء الدول الأعضاء في المؤتمر الدولي المعني بمنطقة البحيرات الكبرى بمنع ومعاقبة جرائم العنف الجنسي التي تُعدّ من جرائم الحرب بالنسبة إلى المؤتمر، وذلك من خلال اعتماد " بروتوكول منع ومعاقبة العنف الجنسي ضد النساء والأطفال " .
