The participants were also convinced that the World Federation of United Nations associations (WFUNA) and UNAs must contribute to the efforts at the international and national levels designed to achieve positive results in regard to the protection of minorities, including certain groups - such as migrant workers, refugees, asylum seekers and aliens in general - that may or may not be covered by United Nations instruments.
