6. The recommendations of the ad hoc group, as set out in its report to the Statistical Commission (E/CN.3/1999/23, annex, para. 1) are:

97. Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 50/204 of 23 December 1995, the Board has followed up on its recommendations on the Office of Internal Audit. The recommendations, which were made in its report for the biennium ended 31 December 1991, mainly concerned the filling of vacancies and the implementation of recommendations by the Office of Internal Audit.

27. The Committee recalls that the initial estimates of the Secretary-General, as set out in his report for the period from 1 July 1997 to 30 June 1998 (A/51/535/Add.2) amounted to $122,166,000 gross, exclusive of the provision for the support account.

Reference was also made to the findings of the Office of Internal Office Services reflected in its report on the in-depth evaluation of legal affairs (see E/AC.51/2002/5, para. 54), in particular the finding that the Repertory continued to be the recurrent Office of Legal Affairs publication with the highest sales.

17. It is recommended that the General Assembly approve the following recommendations of the post-Phase V Working Group, as contained in its report (A/C.5/55/39) and the annexes thereto:

The present report is submitted to inform the Assembly of the requirements resulting from resolutions and decisions adopted by the Council at its twenty-fifth to twenty-seventh sessions and its twenty-first and twenty-second special sessions, held in 2014, as contained in its report to the Assembly (see A/69/53 and Add.1 and Corr.1).

Mr. Zdorov (Belarus) said that his delegation supported the findings by the Secretary-General, set out in his report (A/65/272), and, given the increasing burden on the environment attributable to economic globalization, stressed the need to put into effect coordinated economic and environmental policies to help protect the climate and the environment while allowing the global economy to continue growing.
