In the same resolution, the Assembly reaffirmed the primary role of the General Assembly, Economic and Social Council and the Commission on the Status of Women in the overall policy-making, follow-up and coordination of the implementation and monitoring of the Platform for Action and the outcome of the twenty-third special session of the General Assembly.
