In the past four years, the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics has developed educational and training programmes to help geriatricians and important professionals in the field of gerontological services.

One of the main objectives of the Institute is to maintain cooperation among researchers, professionals in gerontology and Geriatrics and decision makers in the Russian Federation and all over the world.
ومن الأهداف الأساسية للمنظمة استمرار التعاون بين الباحثين والاختصاصيين في علم الشيخوخة وطب المسنين وصانعي القرار في الاتحاد الروسي وجميع أنحاء العالم.

54. In Nicaragua, as well as in many other Latin American countries, UNFPA supports the participation of national professionals in international conventions and courses in gerontology and Geriatrics.

The mission of the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics is to promote the highest levels of achievement in gerontological research and training worldwide and to interact with other international, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations in the promotion of gerontological interests globally and on behalf of its member associations.
تتمثل مهمة الرابطة الدولية لعلم الشيخوخة وطب المسنين في العمل على تحقيق أعلى مستويات الإنجاز في البحث والتدريب في مجال علم الشيخوخة وبحوث طب المسنين في جميع أنحاء العالم، وفي التفاعل مع سائر المنظمات الدولية والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية في مجالات تعزيز الاهتمام بعلم الشيخوخة على الصعيد العالمي، وأداء ذلك باسم الرابطات الأعضاء.

For the past three years, the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics has also made efforts to encourage the United Nations to adopt a convention on the human rights of older persons by participating in the Global Alliance for the Rights of Older Persons, an international collaborative body of non-governmental organizations working to empower older persons based on the ideas of exchange and an age-integrated society.
وعلى مدى السنوات الثلاث الماضية، بذلت الرابطة الدولية لعلم الشيخوخة وطب المسنين جهودا أيضا لتشجيع الأمم المتحدة على اعتماد اتفاقية بشان حقوق الإنسان لكبار السن من خلال المشاركة في التحالف العالمي لحقوق كبار السن، وهو هيئة تعاونية عالمية للمنظمات غير الحكومية الدولية لتمكين كبار السن على أساس تبادل الأفكار وإقامة مجتمع متكامل عمريا.
