(a) Transnational corporations and other business enterprises shall recognize workers' and employers' freedom of association consistent with ILO Convention No. 87 (Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organize Convention, 1948) and other international human rights law.

The Committee also recommends that the State party more effectively monitor instances of child labour in order to ensure its gradual eradication, especially in the context of hazardous work, in accordance with International Labour Organization Convention No. 182 (1999) concerning the worst forms of child labour.

The Committee further recommends that the State party adopt legislation in consultation with and the participation of indigenous and Afro-Colombian people, that clearly establishes the right to free, prior and informed consent in conformity with International Labour Organization Convention No. 169 concerning Indigenous and Tribal Peoples in Independent Countries, as well as the relevant decisions of the Constitutional Court.
