" The Economic and Social Council shall promote a coordinated and integrated follow-up to and implementation of major international conferences in the economic, social and related fields.

The Council resumed its consideration of the question of coordinated follow-up by the United Nations system and implementation of the results of the major international conferences organized by the United Nations in the economic, social and related fields (agenda item 3 (a)) at its resumed substantive session of 1995.

1. The Council considered the question of coordinated follow-up by the United Nations system and implementation of the results of the major international conferences organized by the United Nations in the economic, social and related fields at its substantive session (agenda item 3 (a)).

" The Economic and Social Council takes note of the report of the Secretary-General on the coordinated follow-up to major international conferences in the economic, social and related fields (E/1995/86) and of the suggestions contained in it to assist in the formulation of a coordinated approach to the follow-up to those conferences.

At its substantive session of 1995, the Economic and Social Council approved its agreed conclusions (1995/1) on coordinated follow-up by the United Nations system and the implementation of the results of the major international conferences organized by the United Nations in the economic, social and related fields.
فقد أقر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعــي، فـــي دورتــــه الموضوعيـــة لعام ١٩٩٥، استنتاجاته المتفق عليها )١٩٩٥/١( بشأن المتابعة المنسقة من جانب منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وتنفيذ نتائج المؤتمرات الدولية الرئيسية الى تنظمها اﻷمم المتحدة في الميدانين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي وما يتصل بهما من الميادين اﻷخرى.

20. At the 57th meeting, on 28 July, the Vice-President of the Council, Mr. Alexandru Niculescu (Romania), introduced the draft agreed conclusions (E/1995/L.58) on coordinated follow-up by the United Nations system and implementation of the results of the major international conferences organized by the United Nations in the economic, social and related fields.
٢٠ - وفي الجلسة ٥٩، المعقودة في ٢٨ تموز/يوليه، قام نائب رئيس المجلس، السيد الكسندرو نيكولسكو )رومانيا(، بعرض مشروع استنتاجات متفق عليها )E/1995/L.58( بشأن المتابعة المنسقة من جانب منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة وتنفيذ نتائج المؤتمرات الدولية الرئيسية التي تنظمها اﻷمم المتحدة في الميدانين الاقتصادي والاجتماعي وما يتصل بهما من الميادين اﻷخرى.

1. By its decision 1995/204 of 10 February 1995, the Economic and Social Council decided that its coordination segment of 1995 should be devoted to the consideration of the following theme: " Coordinated follow-up by the United Nations system and implementation of the results of the major international conferences organized by the United Nations in the economic, social and related fields " .
