The SubCommission, in its resolution 1995/17, requested the SecretaryGeneral to report to the SubCommission regarding coordination endeavours which affect persons with disabilities, with emphasis on activities of the other United Nations organizations and bodies that deal with alleged violations of the legal obligations of States under the International Bill of Human Rights and United Nations treaties that protect persons with disabilities.

The view was expressed that NPS applications addressed in the second objective of the workplan should be in conformity with international law, the Charter of the United Nations and the United Nations treaties and principles on outer space, in particular the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies.
14- وأُعرب عن رأي مفاده أن تطبيقات مصادر القدرة النووية والتي يتناولها الهدف الثاني من أهداف حلقة العمل ينبغي أن تتوافق مع القانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة ومعاهدات الأمم المتحدة ومبادئها المتعلقة بالفضاء الخارجي، وخصوصاً معاهدة المبادئ المنظمة لأنشطة الدول في ميدان استكشاف واستخدام الفضاء الخارجي، بما في ذلك القمر والأجرام السماوية الأخرى.
