7. Invites Member States to keep the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat informed of progress made in the implementation of the recommendations of the Expert Group Meeting on Corruption and Its Financial Channels;
٧ - تدعو الدول اﻷعضاء الى مواصلة اطلاع مكتب مراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة على التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ توصيات اجتماع فريق الخبراء المعني بالفساد وقنواته المالية ؛

The Centre for International Crime Prevention of the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat is coordinating its activities on firearm regulation within that mechanism.
ويقوم المركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي التابع لمكتب مكافحة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة بتنسيق أنشطته المتعلقة بتنظيم تداول اﻷسلحة النارية في اطار تلك اﻵلية .

The development of the activities of the Centre for International Crime Prevention of the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat was furthered by the awareness-raising efforts of the group.
وساعدت جهود الفريق في مجال اذكاء الوعي على تطور أنشطة المركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي التابع لمكتب مكافحة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة .

9. Urges the Centre for International Crime Prevention of the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat to promote projects that contribute to the exchange of information and experience in crime prevention for the purpose of encouraging new forms of collaboration between countries at the levels of government, the community and non-governmental organizations;
٩ - يحث المركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي ، التابع لمكتب مراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة ، أن يروج مشاريع تسهم في تبادل المعلومات والخبرات في مجال منع الجريمة بهدف التشجيع على اتباع أشكال جديدة من التعاون بين البلدان على مستوى الحكومات والمجتمعات المحلية والمنظمات غير الحكومية ؛

1. The programme budget implications pertaining to the revised draft resolution entitled “Tenth United Nations Congress on the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders” were presented orally by the representative of Programme Support Service of the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat on 6 May 1999 and are provided below.
١ - قدم ممثل دائرة الدعم البرنامجي التابع لمكتب مراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة بيانا شفويا في ٦ أيار/ مايو ٩٩٩١ عن اﻵثار المترتبة في الميزانية البرنامجية على مشروع القرار المنقح للجنة وعنوانه " مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة العاشر لمنع الجريمة ومعاملة المجرمين " ، على النحو الوارد أدناه .

4. The Centre for International Crime Prevention of the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat conducted a preliminary review of the information available concerning the issues to be covered by the study.
٤ - وأجرى المركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي ، التابع لمكتب مراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة ، استعراضا أوليا للمعلومات المتاحة بخصوص المسائل التي يراد أن تتناولها الدراسة .

Discussions could be held on areas of technical assistance in support of the implementation of the global programme against money-laundering of the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat (including training courses, advisory services and examples of best practice).
ويمكن إجراء مناقشات عن مجالات المساعدة التقنية لدعم تنفيذ البرنامج العالمي لمكافحة غسل اﻷموال التابع لمكتب مراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة )بما في ذلك الحلقات التدريبية، والخدمات الاستشارية، وأمثلة عن أفضل الممارسات(.

2. Welcomes the fact that the Centre for International Crime Prevention of the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat has enhanced its cooperation with other United Nations entities, and with other partners involved in assisting Member States in setting up separate juvenile justice systems or in improving existing juvenile justice systems by adapting them to the United Nations standards and norms in juvenile justice;
٢ - يرحب بأن المركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي التابع لمكتب مكافحة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة قد عزز تعاونه مع سائر هيئات اﻷمم المتحدة ومع سائر الجهات المشاركة في مساعدة الدول اﻷعضاء على انشاء نظم منفصلة لقضاء اﻷحداث أو تحسين نظم قضاء اﻷحداث الموجودة بمواءمتها مع معايير اﻷمم المتحدة وقواعدها في مجال قضاء اﻷحداث؛

3. Also reaffirms the role of the Centre for International Crime Prevention of the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat in providing to Member States, upon request, technical cooperation, advisory services and other forms of assistance in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice, including in the area of prevention and control of organized crime;
٣ - تؤكد من جديد أيضا الدور الذي يؤديه مركز منع الجريمة الدولية التابع لمكتب مراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة في تزويد الدول اﻷعضاء، بناء على طلبها، بالتعاون التقني وتقديم الخدمات الاستشارية وأشكال أخرى من المساعدة التقنية في ميدان منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، بما في ذلك مجال منع الجريمة المنظمة ومكافحتها؛

2. We request the Centre for International Crime Prevention of the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat to carry out, in cooperation with interested countries, regional assessments of the needs of Member States concerning legislation, capacity-building, expertise, training and resources with a view to ensuring a rapid ratification and implementation of the Convention and the protocols thereto.
٦ - نطلب الى المركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي ، التابع لمكتب مراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة ، أن يتعاون مع البلدان المهتمة على اجراء تقييمات اقليمية لاحتياجات الدول اﻷعضاء فيما يتعلق بالتشريع وبناء القدرات والخبرة الفنية والتدريب والموارد ، ضمانا لتعجيل التصديق على الاتفاقية والبروتوكولات الملحقة بها وتنفيذها .

6. We request the Centre for International Crime Prevention of the Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat to carry out, in cooperation with interested countries, regional assessments of the needs of Member States concerning legislation, capacity- building, expertise, training and resources with a view to ensuring a rapid ratification and implementation of the Convention and the protocols thereto.

٦ - نطلب الى المركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي ، التابع لمكتب مراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة ، أن يجري ، بالتعاون مع البلدان المهتمة ، تقييمات اقليمية لاحتياجات الدول اﻷعضاء فيما يتعلق بالتشريع وبناء القدرات والخبرة الفنية والتدريب والموارد ، بغية ضمان تعجيل التصديق على الاتفاقية والبروتوكولات الملحقة بها وتنفيذها .

In accordance with the recommendations of the Office of Internal Oversight Services on the review of programme management in the Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Division (A/52/777, annex), concerted efforts will be made to build a more effective collaborative relationship between the Institute and the Centre for International Crime Prevention of the United Nations Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat.
٦ - وعملا بتوصيات مكتب المراقبة الداخلية بشأن استعراض ادارة البرنامج في شعبة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية )مرفق الوثيقة A/52/777( ، سوف تبذل جهود متضافرة لاقامة علاقة تعاونية أكثر فعالية بين المعهد والمركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي التابع لمكتب اﻷمم المتحدة لمراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة باﻷمانة العامة .
