His delegation commended the Secretary-General on his initiative and persistence and expressed its sincere thanks to the troop-contributing countries, especially those whose contingents had endured physical and emotional indignities at the hands of the rebels while performing their peacekeeping duties.
وإن وفده يثني على الأمين العام لما أبداه من مبادرة ومثابرة، ويعرب عن شكره الخالص للبلدان المساهمة بقوات، خاصة من تعرضوا أثناء تأديتهم لواجباتهم في حفظ السلام لإهانات مادية ومعنوية على يد المتمردين.

His delegation commended the Secretary-General for the progress made in reducing the backlog of the publication of the Repertory and the Repertoire and the United Kingdom for having supported the establishment of a trust fund to update the two sets of documents.

He therefore commended the Secretary-General for recommending a number of additional targets which would facilitate the monitoring of progress towards achieving those Goals.
وهو لذلك يثني على الأمين العام لأنه أوصى بعددٍ من الأهداف الإضافية التي سوف تيسِّر رصد التقدم في سبيل تحقيق هذه الأهداف.

38. His delegation commended the Secretary-General on his efforts to reduce the backlog in the publication of the Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs and the Repertoire of the Practice of the Security Council.
38 - وأضاف قائلاً إن وفده يثني على الأمين العام لجهوده في خفض المتأخرات المتراكمة في نشر مرجع ممارسات الأمم المتحدة و مرجع ممارسات مجلس الأمن.

24. The European Union commended the Secretary-General for organizing the High-level Meeting on Countering Nuclear Terrorism with a specific focus on strengthening the legal framework, held in New York on 28 September 2012, and was committed to the full implementation of Security Council and General Assembly resolutions on counter-terrorism.
24 - وقال إن الاتحاد الأوروبي يثني على الأمين العام لتنظيمه الاجتماع الرفيع المستوى المعني بمكافحة الإرهاب النووي، الذي عُقد في 28 أيلول/سبتمبر 2012 وتركز تحديداً على تعزيز الإطار القانوني، وانتهى إلى تأكيد الالتزام بالتنفيذ التام لقرارات مجلس الأمن والجمعية العامة المتعلقة بمكافحة الإرهاب.

The delegation of Kazakhstan would like to commend the Secretary-General for his commitment to the creation of a more transparent and accountable Secretariat, with the highest levels of efficiency, competence and integrity.

It wished, however, to commend the Secretary-General for preparing a submission that took account of recent and forthcoming events in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, including the constitutional referendum and the presidential and parliamentary elections.
