٣٨ - في الفقرة ٢٠ من القرار ٤٨/٢٢٢ ألف، طلبت الجمعية العامة الى اﻷمين العام أن يستعرض السند القانوني والخبرة العملية لجميع الهيئات الفرعية التي تجتمع خارج مقارها الدائمة، مما يشكل خروجا عن قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٠/٢٤٣، وأن يقدم تقريرا عن ذلك الى الجمعية العامة في دورتها التاسعة واﻷربعين، عن طريق لجنة المؤتمرات.

At that session, the Assembly decided to proclaim the International Week of Science and Peace, to take place each year during the week in which 11 November falls; and requested the Secretary-General to invite Member States to report to him on their activities and initiatives in connection with this event, and to report thereon to the Assembly at its forty-fifth session (resolution 43/61).
