In its decision 48/411, the General Assembly, aware of the need to take effective steps to eliminate acts of terrorism requested the Secretary-General to seek the views of Member States on the matter.
والجمعية العامة، إدراكا منها للحاجة إلى وجوب اتخاذ خطوات فعالة للقضاء على اﻷعمال اﻹرهابية، طلبت في مقررها ٤٨/٤١١ إلى اﻷمين العام أن يلتمس آراء الدول اﻷعضاء بشأن هذه المسألة.

2. In the same resolution, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to seek the views of Member States on that issue, and to bring those views to the attention of the Ad Hoc Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts as well as to the attention of the General Assembly.

٠١ - يطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يلتمس آراء الدول اﻷعضاء بشأن خطة العمل المتعلقة بتنفيذ اعلان المبادئ اﻷساسية لضحايا الاجرام والتعسف في استعمال السلطة، المرفق بهذا القرار، بغية تقديم تقرير عنه إلى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية في دورتها الثامنة؛

(a) To seek the views of Member States on effective ways and means of collecting weapons transferred illicitly, in particular in the light of experience gained by the United Nations;
)أ( أن يلتمس آراء الدول اﻷعضاء بشأن الطرق والوسائل الفعالة لجمع اﻷسلحة المنقولة على نحو غير مشروع ولا سيما في ضوء الخبرة التي اكتسبتها اﻷمم المتحدة؛
