3. Nothing in this Convention shall oblige a State Party to grant mutual legal assistance and/or extradition if it has not ratified the international counter-terrorism instrument on which the request for mutual legal assistance and/or extradition is based.

15. Decides that, for an initial period of one year from the date of the adoption of this resolution, all Member States shall take the necessary measures to prevent the entry into or transit through their territories of individuals designated by the Committee established pursuant to paragraph 19 below, provided that nothing in this paragraph shall oblige a State to refuse its own nationals entry into its territory;
15 - يقرر أن يتخذ جميع الدول الأعضاء، لفترة أولية مدتها سنة واحدة اعتبارا من تاريخ اتخاذ هذا القرار، ما يلزم من تدابير لمنع دخول أراضيها من جانب الأفراد الذين تحددهم اللجنة المنشأة عملا بالفقرة 19 أدناه أو عبورهم منها، شريطة ألا يكون في هذه الفقرة ما يلزم أي دولة برفض دخول رعاياها إلى أراضيها؛

Adherence to the Optional Protocol obliges a State party to cooperate with the Committee in good faith so as to permit and enable it to consider such communications, and after examination, to forward its views to the State party and to the individual.

Nor has the State party informed them that any third country has agreed to accept them, or that active negotiations for such purpose are under way, or of any time frames for any speculative negotiations with other potential countries.

Adherence to the Optional Protocol obliges a State party to cooperate with the Committee in good faith so as to permit and enable it to consider such communications, and after examination, to forward its views to the State party and to the individual (art. 5, paras. 1 and 4).

Section 8 of Act No. 79 provides that the Minister may, if he thinks fit, in place of issuing a warrant of arrest and detention or in place of making a banishment order, make an order requiring any person who he is satisfied is not a citizen or an exempted person to leave Malaysia before the expiration of a period of 14 days from the date of service of the order.
تنص المادة 8 من القانون رقم 79 على أنه يجوز للوزير، إن ارتأى ذلك مناسبا، أن يصدر أمرا يلزم أي شخص تبين له أنه ليس مواطنا أو شخصا مُعفى بمغادرة ماليزيا قبل انصرام أجل 14 يوما اعتبارا من تاريخ استلام نسخة من الإشعار بالأمر، وذلك عوض إصدار مذكرة اعتقال واحتجاز وعوض إصدار أمر بالمنع من الإقامة.
