٨ - قدم مقترح مفاده أنه ينبغي تعديل الميثاق لكي لا ينطبق حق النقض، كخطوة أولى، إلا على القرارات المتخذة بموجب الفصل السابع مــن الميثاق، وذلك بطرق منها تعديل المواد ٤ و ٥ و ٦ و ٢٧ و ٩٧ و ١٠٨ و ١٠٩ من الميثاق.

10. A proposal was made to the effect that The Charter should be amended to provide, as part of the voting mechanism of the Security Council under Article 27 of the Charter, for a reference to the veto with all its specific criteria.
١٠ - وقدم مقترح مفاده أنه ينبغي تعديل الميثاق لﻹشارة إلى حق النقض بجميع معاييره المحددة، كجزء من آلية التصويت في مجلس اﻷمن بموجب المادة ٢٧ من الميثاق.

11. A proposal was made to the effect that The Charter should be amended to provide for suspension of the veto on specific occasions, as defined by a prescribed qualified majority of the General Assembly.
١١ - وقدم مقترح مفاده أنه ينبغي تعديل الميثاق لينص على تعليق حق النقض في مناسبات معينة، على النحو الذي تحدده أغلبية الجمعية العامة التي تتوافر فيها الشروط المنصوص عليها.

٦ - وأكد رؤساء الدول أو الحكومات من جديد الاقتراح الذي تقدمت به الحركة بضرورة تقليص استعمال حق النقض، تمهيدا ﻹلغائه، وأنه ينبغي تعديل الميثاق بحيث لا يسري حق النقض كخطوة أولى، إلا على اﻹجراءات التي يتم اتخاذها بموجب الفصل السابع من الميثاق.
