In addition to the information provided in the reports of the Special Rapporteur, it is worth mentioning the report of the Secretary-General on traffic in women and girls (E/CN.4/2002/80), which noted the increased vulnerability of women to economic and sexual exploitation, including trafficking, as they migrate from rural to urban areas and from their country to another.
