5. In accordance with Commission resolution 2003/83, a member of the Subcommission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights, Florizelle O'Connor, submitted a concept document (E/CN.4/Sub.2/2005/23) establishing options and their feasibility for the implementation of the right to development.

In paragraph 8, the word " Reaffirms " should be replaced by the words " Recognizes the relevance of " , and the words " particularly the submission of a concept document establishing options for the implementation of the right to development and their feasibility, inter alia, an international legal standard of a binding nature " should be deleted.

The Commission will have before it a note by the Secretariat transmitting a concept document on the right to development prepared by the Sub-Commission (E/CN.4/Sub.2/2005/23) and containing a summary of discussion at the fiftyseventh session of the Sub-Commission (E/CN.4/2006/25).

This was accompanied by a concept document for the Working Group drawn up by United Nations Office of Sport for Development and Peace, in consultation with the former funders of the Working Group (Austria, Canada, Norway, Switzerland and an international non-governmental organization (NGO), Right to Play).

In its resolution 2003/83, the Commission requested that a concept document be submitted by the Sub-Commission establishing options for the implementation of the right to development and their feasibility, inter alia an international legal standard of a binding nature, guidelines on the implementation of the right to development and principles for development partnership, including issues which any such instrument might address.
