As will be recalled from our previous communication of 15 October 1992 (A/47/536-S/24667), the issue of the alteration of the demographic structure of Cyprus was examined by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which adopted a relevant resolution on 7 October 1992, following a report of its Committee on Migration, Refugees and Demography.
ولا شــك أنكــم تذكـرون مـن رسالتنـا السابقـة المؤرخــة ١٥ تشرين اﻷول/اكتوبــر ١٩٩٢ (A/47/536-S/24667)، أن الجمعية البرلمانية لمجلس أوروبا بحثت مسألة تغيير التركيب الديمغرافي لقبرص واتخذت قرارا بهذا الشأن في ٧ تشرين اﻷول/اكتوبر ١٩٩٢، استنادا الى تقرير لجنتها المعنية بالهجرة واللاجئين والجـوانب الديمغرافية.

We hope that at a certain stage a comprehensive consideration of our idea by the Member States will lead to the adoption of a relevant resolution on this issue.
ونأمل أن يؤدي إيلاء الدول اﻷعضاء فكرتنا هذه نظرة شاملة في مرحلة معيﱠنة، إلى اتخاذ قرار ذي صلة بهذه المسألة.

Requests the Human Rights Council to support the activities proposed by the Working Group by including them in a relevant resolution.
- ويطلب إلى مجلس حقوق الإنسان أن يدعم الأنشطة التي اقترحها الفريق عن طريق إدراجها في قرار ذي صلة بالموضوع.

We hope that this timely proposal will be given serious consideration at this session of the General Assembly, followed by the adoption of a relevant resolution to this effect.
ونأمل أن يلقى هذا الاقتراح حسن التوقيت اهتماما جادا في الدورة الحالية للجمعية العامة يعقبه اتخاذ قرار ذي صلة بهذا الغرض.
