The Committee recommends that the State party, taking into account article 22 and other relevant provisions of the Convention, take all feasible measures to ensure full protection and care, as well as access to health and social services and to education, of asylum-seeking and refugee children in Saudi Arabia.

43. However, the Committee remains concerned about the disadvantaged position of women in rural areas, who are most affected by poverty, challenges in access to health and social services and a lack of access to land, not due to legal impediments, but to traditional practices and cultural patterns, which are stronger in rural areas and indigenous communities.
غير أن اللجنة ما زالت تشعر بالقلق إزاء الوضع غير المواتي للمرأة في المناطق الريفية، التي تعاني بشدة من الفقر ومن المصاعب في الحصول على الخدمات الصحية والاجتماعية ومن عدم إمكانية الحصول على أرض، لا بسبب العوائق القانونية وإنما بسبب الممارسات التقليدية والأنماط الثقافية التي تكون أقوى في المناطق الريفية ولدى جماعات الشعوب الأصلية.

However, the Committee is concerned about the disadvantaged position of women in rural and remote areas, recognizing that the conditions faced by such women, who represent almost 80 per cent of the women in Chad, are often characterized by poverty, the impact of armed conflict, difficulties in access to health and social services and a lack of participation in decision-making processes at the community level.

180. In light of article 22 and other relevant provisions of the Convention, the Committee recommends that the State party take all feasible measures to ensure full protection and care, as well as access to health and social services and to education, of Western Saharan refugee children living in refugee camps in Algeria, and in this respect continue its cooperation with, among others, UNHCR and WFP.
180- في ضوء أحكام المادة 22 وغيرها من الأحكام ذات الصلة في الاتفاقية، توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تتخذ جميع التدابير الممكنة لضمان تقديم الحماية والرعاية الكاملتين، وكذلك الوصول إلى الخدمات الصحية والاجتماعية والتعليم، للأطفال اللاجئين من الصحراء الغربية الذين يعيشون في مخيمات اللاجئين في الجزائر، وبأن تواصل في هذا الصدد التعاون مع منظمات من بينها اليونيسيف وبرنامج الغذاء العالمي.
