Noting with appreciation its accomplishment of the Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children, transmitted to the General Assembly, according to which States should seek to provide appropriate care and protection for vulnerable children, including children of migrant workers, as part of efforts to prevent separation of children from their parents,
وإذ يلاحظ بتقدير إنجازه المبادئ التوجيهية بشأن الرعاية البديلة للأطفال، التي أحيلت إلى الجمعية العامة والتي ينبغي بموجبها أن تسعى الدول إلى توفير الرعاية والحماية المناسبتين للفئات الضعيفة من الأطفال، بمن فيهم أطفال العمال المهاجرين، في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى منع فصل الأطفال عن والديهم،

Furthermore, the Committee recommends that a set of international standards on the protection and Alternative Care of children without parental care should emphasize this principle and take into account the obstacles and challenges which impede the provision of out-of-home care to children.
كما توصي اللجنة بأن تشدد مجموعة المعايير الدولية المتعلقة بحماية الأطفال المحرومين من رعاية الوالدين وتوفير الرعاية البديلة لهم على هذا المبدأ وأن تراعي العوائق والتحديات التي تعترض توفير الرعاية خارج إطار الأسرة للأطفال.

The Committee further recommends that the State party rapidly develop and implement a strategy for prevention, including through the use of information campaigns, and for care of people who are victims of HIV/AIDS, including for Alternative Care of their children.

14. The Rio Group commended the Human Rights Council for adopting, at its eleventh session, the Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children and hoped that the General Assembly would approve them.
