1. Notes with interest the views of some States on the development of good-neighbourly relations among the Balkan States contained in the report of the Secretary-General;

3.6 The Government of the Republic of Macedonia is against the establishment of any restricted regional associations among the Balkan States which are aimed at the development of the Balkan economic and political integration outside of the European Union.
٣-٦ إن حكومة جمهورية مقدونيا تعارض إقامة أية رابطات إقليمية مقيدة فيما بين دول البلقان وترمي إلى تطوير التكامل الاقتصادي والسياسي لبلدان البلقان خارج نطاق الاتحاد اﻷوروبي.

In view of the fact that the nature, quality and scope of the relations between the Balkan States differ, it would be useful, as part of the report, to prepare and propose " a model for modern European good-neighbourly relations among the Balkan States " .
ونظرا لحقيقة أن طبيعة ونوعية ونطاق العلاقات بين دول البلقان مختلفة، فإنه سيكون من المفيد إعداد واقتراح " نموذج لعلاقات حسن جوار أوروبية عصرية فيما بين دول البلقان " بوصفه جزءا من التقرير.

5. Calls upon the relevant international organizations and competent bodies and organizations of the United Nations system to continue to support and assist the ongoing process of development of good-neighbourly relations among the Balkan States and invites them to inform the Secretary-General of their activities and of their views on the subject;
٥ - تطلب إلى المنظمات الدولية ذات الصلة والهيئات والمنظمات المختصة التابعة لمنظومة اﻷمم المتحدة أن تواصل دعم ومساعدة العملية الجارية لتنمية علاقات حسن الجوار فيما بين دول البلقان وتدعوها إلى إطلاع اﻷمين العام على أنشطتها وموافاته بآرائها في هذا الشأن؛

10. Also stresses that closer engagement of the South-Eastern European States in furthering cooperation on the European continent will favourably influence the security, political and economic situation in the region, as well as the good-neighbourly relations among the Balkan States;
١٠ - تؤكد أيضا أن إشراك دول جنوب شرق أوروبا على نحو أوثق في تعزيز التعاون في القارة اﻷوروبية سيؤثر تأثيرا إيجابيا على اﻷمن والحالة السياسية والاقتصادية في المنطقة، وعلى علاقات حسن الجوار فيما بين دول البلقان أيضا؛

5.
