On 11 May, Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa stated that the Middle East peace process was embroiled in its deepest crisis ever. “We are in the midst of an unprecedented crisis since the beginning of the peace process”, Mr Moussa told Egypt’s Nile Television, adding that the current Israeli policies did not augur well for the future of the region.
