(i) To carry out promotion, protection and monitoring activities of human rights in Liberia, with special attention to violations and abuses committed against children and women, notably sexual- and gender-based violence;

The Council further requests enhanced exchange of pertinent information on violations and abuses committed against children in armed conflict between its Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict and relevant Sanctions Committees and their expert groups.

(iv) To ensure that specific provisions for children are included by the parties at all steps of the negotiations, bearing in mind the importance of holding accountable perpetrators of violations and abuses committed against children;

5. Strongly urges the leaders to respond positively to the present message, bearing in mind the importance that perpetrators of violations and abuses committed against children in situations of armed conflict be held accountable.
5 - يحث بقوة القادة على الاستجابة بشكل إيجابي لهذه الرسالة، واضعين في اعتبارهم أهمية إخضاع مرتكبي الانتهاكات والاعتداءات ضد الأطفال في حالات الصراع المسلح للمساءلة.

' 6` القيام تحديدا برصد الانتهاكات والتجاوزات التي تُرتكب ضد الأطفال والانتهاكات التي ترتكب ضد النساء، بما في ذلك جميع أشكال العنف الجنسي خلال النزاعات المسلحة، والمساعدة في التحقيق بشأنها وإبلاغ المجلس بها؛

7. Also strongly condemns all violations and abuses committed against children in contravention of applicable international law, such as their recruitment and use, killing and maiming, rape and all other forms of sexual violence, attacks on schools and hospitals, as well as their arbitrary arrest, detention, torture, ill-treatment and their use as human shields;
