The request indicates that, in the process of execution of the National Survey of Landmine and cluster munition Contamination, survey teams cancelled areas after analysis of the history of the conflict and confirmation of the use of land, as well as when a minimum of 10 people of the village certified that no contamination existed in the village.

13. The request indicates that in order to assess the extent and type of contamination, the data collected by the GMAS and GMAA was extracted from Information Management System for Mine Action (IMSMA) and were exported and merged with the data collected during the National Survey on Landmine and cluster munition Contamination.
13- ويوضح الطلب أن تقييم حجم التلوث ونوعه اقتضى استخراج البيانات التي جُمعت في إطار المسح العام والتقييم العام من نظام إدارة المعلومات للإجراءات المتعلقة بالألغام ونُقلت وضُمّت إلى البيانات التي جُمعت في إطار المسح الوطني للأراضي الملغومة والتلوث بالذخائر العنقودية.

12. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD), and cluster munition Coalition (CMC) also participated in the work of the Meeting as observers, pursuant to Rule 1(2) of the Rules of Procedure.
