The analysis should be undertaken by the Secretariat in consultation with member States and should be submitted to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its tenth session.

Also requests the Secretary-General to prepare a report on work in progress in this area to be submitted to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its tenth session or as soon as possible, taking into account, inter alia, relevant results of the Tenth United Nations Congress on the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders.

Pursuant to the provisions of that resolution, the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, at its tenth session, considered a report providing an analysis of all relevant international instruments and provided further guidance for future work on the development of a legal instrument against corruption (E/CN.15/2001/3 and Corr.1).
وعملا بأحكام القرار، نظرت لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية في دورتها العاشرة في تقرير يقدم تحليلا لجميع الصكوك الدولية ذات الصلة ويوفر المزيد من التوجيه للعمل المقبل فيما يتعلق بوضع صك قانوني لمكافحة الفساد (E/CN.15/2001/3، و Corr.1).

Following the Tenth Congress, a plan of action on restorative justice was developed and adopted by the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its tenth session. At the same session, the Commission noted that some Governments had expressed interest in the negotiation of a new international instrument dealing with restorative justice and mediation.

3. In May 2001, a revised, updated version of the sixth quinquennial report, finalized in April 2001, was submitted to the Economic and Social Council and to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its tenth session (E/CN.15/2001/10).
